Privacy Policy

Toodle ("Toodle", "we") is a pet decision website, a brand owned and operated by Michimont Group LLC. This policy explains what Toodle collects, why, and the choices you have. Toodle keeps what it collects to a minimum.
Session recordings
Session recording is disabled. We no longer load Microsoft Clarity or collect new session recordings. Previously collected recordings, if any, remain subject to Microsoft’s retention and privacy practices. The first-party analytics described below are separate.

| Products you save (the heart on product cards) | To keep a list of products you want to come back to and personalize household recommendations using similar categories, product types and brands. You can create a pet and see personalized picks without an account during this browser session. A recovery draft may remain on this device until you save or remove the pet. Creating an account saves your pet to Toodle's database and makes them available when you sign in on another device. Signing out removes active account pets from that browser and keeps the account copy until you delete it. Toodle never asks for payment details.
Google, Apple and Microsoft run sign-in under their own privacy policies and tell Toodle who you are; Toodle does not send them your pet details. The private administrator area separately stores a login name, salted password hash, expiring session records and a history of catalog changes.
Signing in does not subscribe you to email. You may opt in or out on the Account page. Every campaign email also has an unsubscribe link. Toodle uses a separate marketing provider for these messages; the existing support mailboxes continue to handle ordinary correspondence. We record whether the provider accepted, delivered, or rejected a campaign message when those events are available.
For the managed product collection, we count outbound clicks by product offer, day and page placement. These counters contain no pet profile or persistent visitor ID. A salted, short-lived request identifier is used to limit duplicate clicks and abuse, without storing the underlying IP address or browser information in these counters.
To tell clicks by people apart from automated programs (crawlers, bots and scripts that open links on their own), we also count each partner-link request by the hour with a short label: whether it came from a tap during a Toodle visit, a browser click, our own team, or an automated program, the general type of software that made it (for example “Chrome” or a named crawler such as “GPTBot”), and the country our hosting proxy reports. We do not store the IP address, the full browser string or any visitor or account identifier in these counts, and they are kept for 180 days.
Separately, supported Impact, Awin and CJ links save a random click reference so a partner's purchase report can be matched to your signed-in account and selected pet. These links do not send your account key, pet name or pet profile to the network. If you browse signed out, the click has no account association. Removing a pet leaves its orders unassigned; use the Account page's delete-data control to remove your order associations too.
Analytics
Toodle uses first-party analytics to count visits, estimate unique and returning visitors, understand referral sources and identify possible conversion friction. A random browser reference recognizes repeat visits; when you sign in, a pseudonymous account reference can connect visits across devices. Page visibility and departures provide approximate timing, not a recording of what you type or proof of why you left. Approximate country and region may be supplied by our hosting proxy; we do not request your device's location or store raw IPs in analytics. Umami may also be enabled. You can turn analytics off on the Privacy choices page, which clears the browser analytics references. Toodle honors Global Privacy Control as an opt-out. Account-data deletion also removes analytics linked to that account.
Partner links
When you click a partner link, Toodle records the click (see above) and sends you to the partner's website. The partner's own privacy policy applies there. Partners may receive a click reference number; they do not receive your pet's name or ZIP code from Toodle. See our Affiliate disclosure.
Selling or sharing
Toodle does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices and rights
- Remove your pet's details at any time with "Forget" in the pet editor or on the Privacy choices page.
- If you are signed in, remove individual pets or delete everything saved against your account on the Account page. Deleting the account copy also clears those pets from the browser you are using.
- Change your email subscription on the Account page or use the unsubscribe link in any campaign email.
- Turn analytics off on the Privacy choices page or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of the personal information we hold. The controls above cover most requests; for anything else, including a copy of what is stored against your account, email [email protected].
Children
Toodle is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If Toodle's data practices change, this page is updated first and the date above changes.
