How Toodle makes money

Toodle is free to use. When you click a link to a retailer, brand, service provider such as an online vet service, or insurance carrier and then buy something, sign up, or request a quote, Toodle may receive a commission or referral fee from that company. This does not increase the price you pay.

What this means for you

• Buttons that lead to a partner are labelled with the partner's name and open the partner's site.
• Product matching uses pet details such as species, size and life stage. Compensation never affects which products we show or the order they appear in. When more than one store sells the same product, the stores are listed alphabetically. Insurance provider ordering does not use partner compensation.
• Prices shown on Toodle are labelled with how fresh they are (current, last checked, or estimated). The partner's site always has the final price.
• Insurance pages show carrier-published plan information and route you to the carrier for a quote. Toodle is not an insurance agent or broker.

Toodle's own products

Toodle also sells a few products of its own, such as Toodle-branded hats and feeding mats. They're labelled “Sold by Toodle Shop” and are made to order and shipped by our print partner, Printify. Toodle earns the sale price rather than a commission on these. They follow the same rules as everything else: being ours never moves them up a list or into a recommendation.

Sponsored placements

Toodle does not sell placements, and compensation does not decide where a product, store or service appears. Any paid advertising placement added in the future will be clearly identified.
