Soft vs. crunchy
Soft treats are easy to break into small pieces for training or for older cats. Crunchy treats are popular for treat toys and puzzle feeders. Dental treats are a kind of crunchy treat; brushing is still the most effective home dental care.

A common guideline is to keep treats to about 10% of your cat's daily calories. Check the feeding guidance on each package.
